To-day has been full of surprises. we started up by changeing beds, well not literally!!! room 11 had twin beds ,it now has adouble, it has a fantastic few of the conwy hills, you can even see the sea coming into the estuary. So I thought it might make it more letable to couples with a double bed. We have three floor & no lift. Have you any idea how much it costs to put alift in??? So I thought make the top floor cheaper & more attractive & may be it will let easyer. Room 9 now has a fabulous king size bed,so has room 3. They look far more attractive.Hope the visitors think so.Jayne our chamber maid went home with a spare single bed from room 11 for her grandson. So that compensated for her having to act as furniture remover this morning. Anyway here I was minding my own ,when acouple came in to ask for a room, surprise .. we met in Kenya in February. They even acted as witnesses for David & I for our very unexpected wedding.I had four days to prepare & it was fantastic by the beach under the Palms.They are off to a wedding in Birkenhead to-morrow so thought they would come & see us. Then to top it all Peter & his friend Lucas have come to stop. They are Romania. They first came to Llandudno 3years ago to work now they work in Cardiff. They have a couple of days off so decided to come & see us.One time they were very broke & went away owing us £80. David thought that is the last we see of them, but no I was shore they would come back. Some months later 4am the door bell went.Up I got in my dressing gown. Peter was at the door with a bottle of wine in one hand & £80 in the other, 'I not sleep at night, I bring you money'. A double jack daniels later, he & Lucas got back in their van & drove back to Glasgow where they where working. 'Now I sleep well again' said Lucas. Off they drove back into the night & we returned to bed. 'I told you so', I said to a very bemused David.
